The text of this book appears to be outstanding. Regarding the Kindle edition, however, the diagrams are not sufficiently high enough in definition to justify the price for the Kindle edition. If this were corrected, I would buy the Kindle version and recommend it highly to those who work with analgesics professionally.

The New Teaching Standard in Dermatopathology

This book redefines the standard for basic level dermatopathology textbooks. This second edition is larger than the first and hence the images are better portrayed. The powerpoint lectures are all new and run flawlessly. They really add so much more to the text and static images in the book. There are many more images presented online, all easily downloadable to add to any dermpath presentation you might be making. The images in the book are all annotated and the text is presented in the main as bullet points which facilitates learning at a junior level but makes a discussion of contentious areas more difficult. Nonetheless you wont regret having this book in your collection.

Perfect for those of us not so great in surgical pathology

This is a pretty amazing book. Some of us are totally illiterate and/or have little time to read. This is one of the most readable books I've encountered during my pathology residency. It's awesome for those of us who want a brief overview and develop basic but through knowledge of derm path. Good images and text not so concise that you won't understand anything but just with the right amount of detail.

Clinical neurology, another great LANGE textbook

This is a easy to read short text on neurology. It covers all areas, but is not overly technical. This is a great book for general practioners to review neurology or medical students prepairing for boards. The topics are up to date and well referenced. The book has great pictures and diagrams, and follows the typical "LANGE" format. This is a great book to read quickly in one months time or during a clinical rotation.

About the Author

Gordon Gibb, PhD, taught students with disabilities in the public schools for 16 years prior to his appointment at Brigham Young University. As associate professor and director of undergraduate special education, Dr. Gibb prepares teachers to work with students with mild/moderate disabilities and conducts research and instructional improvement activities in several schools.

Tina Taylor Dyches, EdD, is professor and Associate Dean in the McKay School of Education at Brigham Young University. Dr. Dyches has worked with individuals with significant disabilities and their families for nearly 30 years as a special educator and professor. Her service and research interests include adaptation of families raising children with disabilities, children’s literature that characterizes individuals with disabilities, and provision of appropriate services to individuals with disabilities.
